Nintendo Switch Online app update fixes one major issue

Indie developers of the game "Wonder Boy" note that their game has sold more copies on the Switch than on all other platforms combined. Previously, Nintendo Direct events showed off Splatoon 2 and Pokemon to name a few.

So far we know Nintendo will use its 45-minute long Nintendo Direct to talk about upcoming Nintendo Switch and 3DS titles for the coming months.

The Nintendo Switch does not have an Achievement system at the moment, but if the latest reports are anything to go by, this will change soon. The announcement was made earlier today on social media that a Nintendo Direct video presentation would be coming on Wednesday, September 13 at 3 PM PT and 6 PM ET.

Despite the update, there is still one major issue that the Switch mobile app suffers from: multiple apps with microphones/audio output. We could also see more of 2018's unnamed Yoshi, Kirby and Fire Emblem games. Federation Internationale de Football Association 18 will be a little different on the Nintendo Switch and that should not be a shocker considering the kind of hardware it houses. The five new $359.99 Nintendo Switch bundles ship by September 29.

During the direct, we also got an idea of how many moons there are to collect. Yes, I'm talking about that mysterious Kirby game.

News out of the United Kingdom this week has confirmed that the Switch is handily outselling the Xbox One despite the United Kingdom being one of Nintendo's slower markets.

The Nintendo Switch will be in short supply all year, especially during the Holiday season.
