Skilled at honing-and fascinated by-the "story behind the story"-Moukarbel was ultimately the flawless fit to helm Gaga: Five Foot Two, a TIFF-premering documentary that takes viewers into the life of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, and her performative alter ego, Lady Gaga".

Previously, Gaga has said she tested "borderline positive" for lupus and that she dealt with chronic pain after breaking her hip. Now, Gaga has revealed that she suffers from fibromyalgia.

Back in 2013, Lady Gaga opened up for the first time that she was dealing with chronic invisible pain.

In new biopic Gaga: Five Foot Two, the star, 31, tells Madge, 59: 'I'm Italian and from NY, so if I have a problem, I'm gonna tell you to your face'. "I did a movie and lose Taylor", she explains, referring to her leading role in A Star is Born.

She said that she brushes off criticism of her work.

"It's hard", Gaga reportedly said.

On her goals in life: "I'm not in the business of trying to make you all like me. I mean, if I had to put it into one moment it would be the one that you saw last night". "My pain really does me no good unless I transform it into something that is". "So I hope that people watching it that do struggle with chronic pain know they're not alone".

Gaga then climbs down from her stage to Arnold and wraps her in a hug.

"It says, 'Dear Gaga, my name is Dani and I'm 17 years old".

"I don't think that I can be objective about myself".

Lady Gaga's taking some time for herself.
