Xiaomi Mi A1 sale debuts today in India at 12 PM

The phone is created by Xiaomi and powered by Google

Exactly a week ago, Xiaomi launched its first Android One smartphone, the Mi A1 (first impressions) in India for Rs. 14,999. Here is the full comparison of both phones Xioami Mi A1 and Lenovo K8 Plus.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 purchasers will get up to 200GB free data from Bharti Airtel. Running Android One on the Mi A1 will result in quick OS updates, bug fixes and a clean interface. Unlike the Mi 5X, the Mi A1 ships with a vanilla flavor of Android Nougat as opposed to Xiaomi's MIUI 8 software, the phone has the advantage of receiving the latest version of Android for at least two years, making it an excellent alternative to Google's more expensive Pixel devices.

The major highlight of the device is the dual rear cameras, which comes with a combination of 12-megapixel sensors. This dual-SIM phone runs stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box now. It doesn't end there as the company also promised that it will be one of the first Xiaomi phones to get Android P, whenever it's launched.

XIAOMI Corp, which released its new full-view display screen model Mix2 in Beijing yesterday, said it is now again one of the world's top five smartphone vendors, and "passed the toughest time" and is "ready to shock the world". In Xiaomi Mi A1 there is a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Overall, the Mi A1 has a stock Android UI experience, though it does come with Xiaomi Feedback app installed on it.

This is the first budg phone to sport iPhone-like dual cameras. The processor of K8 Plus is octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC and in Mi A1 the processor is octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The rear camera setup consists of a primary 12MP wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a secondary 12MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.6. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants. On the front of the phone, we can find the 5-megapixel camera, and it has the beautification mode.

Xiaomi Mi A1 flaunts a sturdy metal unibody with well-rounded corners and stylishly tapered edges, etched out of a single block of aluminum.

Users can expand the storage as per their desire up to 128GB using the microSD card, and it has the hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Xiaomi says the Mi A1 has a dedicated headphone amplifier with support for up to 600Ohm.
