AP Top 25 Takeaways: Jackson dazzles; Penn St gets revenge

The highly-anticipated football match between No. 14 Louisville and No. 3 Clemson is expected to get even more exciting as ESPN announced plans to return to the city for College GameDay.

Jackson, one of the league's two offensive backs of the week, totaled 525 yards of offense and six touchdowns to lead the Cardinals (2-0) to a 47-35 victory at North Carolina on Saturday. The game will be televised on ABC. Kickoff for both games remain at noon. U of L blasted third-ranked FSU, 63-20, in that game, boosting Lamar Jackson's Heisman Trophy candidacy.

ESPN College GameDay will be on campus for the showdown.

ESPN's popular weekly traveling college football show announced Sunday that it would be in town later this week, as Louisville hosts Clemson, the defending national champion.

On Monday morning, several Vegas betting sites have Clemson listed as a three point road favorite against Louisville in Papa John Stadium.

Clemson and their new starting quarterback Kelly Bryant thrashed Kent State 56-3 in the opening weekend. Jackson has totaled 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns this year while the Tigers have only allowed nine points in two games. Jaylen Smith is the Cardinals' top receiver with 300 yards and a TD on 17 catches. The Tigers had 11 sacks against Auburn.

The two ACC nemeses have produced fireworks in each of their first three meetings since Louisville joined the league. Clemson is also 4-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last fie games following a straight-up win.
