Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the gruesome incident of rape of a five-year-old girl in a Gandhinagar private school.

The rape case took place on Saturday morning, but it came to the light on Saturday evening, following which the Delhi government has announced a magisterial probe into the case. Won't be tolerated. Police doing its job. "Ordered magisterial enquiry. (The government) Will develop protocol for all schools to ensure children safety", Kejriwal tweeted. "After this, we will decide on further action to be taken", said a DCW representative.The commission has also directed the school's management to counsel all students and interrogate about the occurrence, if at all, of similar offences with others in the past. After which the police started searching for Vikas, who went absconding for few hours.

According to ANI, the management has chose to close the school for the next three days fearing protests over the incident.

EVEN TWO hours after recording the statement of a five-year-old child who was allegedly raped inside her school in Shahdara district, police had only one lead - the accused was wearing an "orange cap".

"The child is still in trauma and terrified since the crime happened with her as Vikas threatened her with dire consequences", the girl's grandfather told IANS.

The victim, a Class 1 student, has been hospitalised and her condition is said to be stable.

The whole matter was reported to the police after the 5-year-old girl complained of pain in her abdomen.

"The girl returned home in a very critical condition and told her mother about the horrific incident".

DCW chief Swati Maliwal has asked for a copy of the CCTV footage from the school.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to the school and asked for a report within three days. This shameful incident took place on Saturday. She was taken to Chacha Nehru Hospital in Geeta Colony where it was confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted, he said.

"Had the teacher acted, my daughter wouldn't have been washing her own blood", the girl's father said.

Victim was a student of Tagore Public School in Sahadara. The report also said that the girl was assaulted inside a washroom.

Meanwhile, the girl's grandfather alleged that the police misbehaved with them when the minor was brought to the hospital.
