When DAREDEVIL Season 3 Could Begin Filming

So naturally, since The Punisher is next up in the queue of Netflix's Marvel series it seemed plausible that Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) would make a small appearance in The Defenders. It's been worth the wait, and I plan to savor the remaining installments. The dynamic of the heroes together is the resounding highlight of The Defenders. The combination of Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones was everything I hoped for in the series, but Iron Fist was still a considerable disappointment.

After a major natural disaster hits New York City, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage ( Mike Colter) and Danny Rand (Finn Jones) each find themselves caught up in their own individual mystery which winds up bringing the four of them together. In the picture above, you can see Lee in the top left corner, over Matt Murdock's right shoulder. And who should end up needing a good, affordable attorney? If the first few episodes of the Defenders we had left on our hunger, our advice is to kick the unanimous Sigourney Weaver in the skin of the big bad. Maggie also appears again in the "Guardian Devil" arc, written by Kevin Smith.

As fun as "The Defenders" was for me to watch, I was a little disappointed that they followed the same old super team formula where each of the characters meet, hate each other and by the end all call each other family. We know nearly nothing about her because she's not from the Marvel comics, so she has been created just for this show.

So you spent your weekend bingeing The Defenders and no spoilers, but Danny Rand is still the worst. The actor also hints that a team-up between Iron Fist and Luke Cage might also happen in their own solo series. Literally: The two come to blows before Cage gets a chi-glowing fist to the jaw. "That's one of my favorite Daredevil images, so regardless of who any of the characters are, I went to the production meeting saying, 'This is the image we're going for, we're going to feel like this, ' and that came from that image that I purposely borrowed from the comics".

Marvel is going to release three shows in 2018 with Iron Fist the leftover that will air in the spring of 2019. It plays like the back half of Daredevil Season Two-and in a way, it's a direct follow-up to the events of that season, with some elements of Iron Fist thrown in there. It's The Defenders. When Rand is teamed up with Cage, the moments feel as cool as they were meant to be - and Rand has a much better haircut this time around.

Sowande: "You're the dumbest Iron Fist yet".

The episodes hit a new pace when Daredevil and Elektra's blind, martial arts mentor Stick (Scott Glenn) arrives. "I just approach it like I would any other acting part".

All of the Marvel Netflix series take place in the same canonical universe as the Marvel movies and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. There are already 60 episodes of the four series available on Netflix, so fans of thesesuperheroes are likely to be more patient. The best part of The Defenders? They're much more relatable than Thor or Iron Man, with real problems and trying to make their normal lives work with saving NY.
