Opening For American Horror Story: Cult Features Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

Cult opening credit sequence was released on Monday, August 21, and fans are already freaking out over the video. Ryan Murphy promised as much past year, but the clues that have come out since then haven't really suggested much of a political theme. until this wild, wild ride that is this credits sequence. The bees and clowns that have been all over the other promo material made appearances as well.

Of course, the creepiest, most effective parts of each season of AHS are usually the highly evocative opening credits sequence, and it turns out that the seventh season's is among the creepiest title credits they have ever done.

We don't have that much longer to wait now before we'll finally get to see just what showrunner Ryan Murphy has in store for Donald Trump and American Horror Story: Cult. The first 10 minutes will involve the real Trump and Clinton election, though no actors will be taking on the roles.

Variety points out that the opening credits highlight five previously-announced members of the cast, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd and Alison Pill.

A lot of this information isn't exactly breaking news (bees and clowns have been all over the previous teasers), but there is one major thing we can possibly glean from the footage. With the season said to be a love story, could we see star-crossed lovers from two opposing sides?
