Prince William, Harry have cameos in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

Some real-life royalty! Rumors have been swirling that Prince William and Harry might have cameos in the film, and John Boyega just keeps hinting at it.

He's been hounded by reporters about the possible cameo since April 2016, when the Royal princes visited the set of "The Last Jedi".

"I think they took that scene out", he joked of the latter. "I said it. Im sick of hiding this". There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. "Yeah, they were on set". To film a cameo perhaps? I exhausted to get out. It's unclear how Hardy wound up on the Last Jedi set-if he requested to come on, or if he was filming something on the same stage.

Prince William who admitted he was a "total geek" over the franchise, was photographed hugging Chewbacca played by Joonas Suotamo and he challenged his brother to a duel with lightsabers.

However, the actor said that probably the scene with princes cut and in the final version of the film it will not.

The source of the rumors comes from photos of the members of the Royal Family visiting the Star Wars set which immediately resulted in cameo rumors.

'The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicio del Toro's character when a group of Stormtroopers enter - two of whom are William and Harry'.

The precedent was arguably set for this when "James Bond" actor Daniel Craig donned the stormtrooper armor in 2015's "The Force Awakens". He also inflicted a serious injury upon Finn (John Boyega) on Starkiller Base before ultimately being defeated by Rey (Daisy Ridley). Regardless, it'll sure be a lot of fun to peruse those credits to find out who else Rian Johnson has hid under a helmet or on a radio in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
