How to watch Blizzard Gamescom 2017 livestream

Overwatch Update LEAKED map and new animated trailer coming to Gamescom say Blizzard

Usual suspects like "Overwatch" and "Hearthstone" all have copious events and activities scheduled.

Published by parent company Activision, sci-fi shooter Destiny 2 has a 15-minute broadcast planned the following day, separate from the Blizzard reveal ceremony.

New co-op commander will be revealed on Monday, August 21.

Heathstone's Global Games Finals take place on August 25 and 26.

In a recent blog post, Blizzard teased some of the content players can expect to Blizzard to reveal at Gamescom next week.

Patch 1.14 is also significant because it adds Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch as new Arcade modes, a brand new map called Château Guillard, and hero balance changes for Junkrat, Widowmaker, Orisa and Roadhog.

There are no concrete details on what we'll be seeing, but we know that the new map will be revealed in a preview video being shown on Monday, August 21, while the new short will arrive two days later during a livestreamed Blizzard Reveal Ceremony on Wednesday, August 23.

If we were to place bets, we'd stick our money on the chance that Blizzard will announce a new expansion for World Of Warcraft, seeing as how Blizzard revealed Legion at Gamescom in 2015 at this very event. Its booth, meanwhile, will be located in Koelnmesse's Hall 7 and will be stocked with playable builds of Overwatch, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft II, StarCraft: Remastered, and Diablo III.

Heroes of the Storm: Showdown will be a live show including fights between community personalities and pros.

In addition, attendees at gamescom can pick up a selection of Blizzard merchandise, including some brand-new and convention-exclusive items, at the Blizzard store in Hall 5.

Other games in Blizzard's line up will be on display during the event.

Additional information about Blizzard at gamescom will be available soon, so stay tuned!
