After witnessing a super Tuesday at Box Office, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's latest film "Toilet - Ek Prem Katha" saw a major dip on Wednesday.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha released a week after Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal failed to impress movie-goers. The movie is now racing towards the Rs 100 crore mark and thereby would emerge to be Akshay Kumar's fifth consecutive film to breach past the coveted figure.

The film talks about the prevalent issue of open defecation and highlights the importance of toilets, especially for women in every household.

Apart from its unique subject, the film has another reason to boast about now, as it continues to gross huge figures at the box office.

Hopefully, the ball of success should keep rolling at the box office and Toilet Ek Prem Katha should cross the RS 140 Crore benchmark of 2017 set by Raees.

Cinema enjoys a great impact on people and the film stars exert tremendous influence. I make sure that there is a love story in my films. After breaking the box-office jinx by earning Rs 50 crore in its opening weekend, expectations were high that Toilet Ek Prem Katha will enter the Rs 100-crore club within a week of its release.

Filmmaker Pravin Vyas had made a Docu-Feature film - Manini - in 2016 on Swatch Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign).
