Noted Telugu actor and Hindupur TDP (Telugu Desam Party) MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna slapped a fan in public in Nandyal on Wednesday while attending a campaign meeting.

Currently, Nandamuri Balakrishna is shooting for his 102nd film, which is directed by KS Ravikumar.

Previously, Balakrishna, known as Balayya among his fans.

Earlier, he was caught assaulting an Assistant Director on the sets of his untitled film. A video that went viral online shows Balakrishna hitting the fan.

In a video that is doing the rounds on social media, the accused is seen surrounded by fans and supporters. Balakrishna and the ruling party faced a lot of criticism. One of them fell on the actor while he was trying to take the selfie with his idol. In a fit of rage, the actor slaps the man and pushes him away. Then he walked out angrily. The Nandyal by-election is scheduled to be held on August 23. The actor displayed his intemperate behavior during the campaign on August 16. The video grab shows that Balakrishna was handing over a currency note to a person from a lorry to a person who was walking alongside the vehicle.

The chief minister is going to campaign in Nandyal on Saturday and Sunday to do his best to undo the damage caused to the party due to the allegations levelled by Jagan.
