Toilet: Ek Prem Katha shows massive growth on Day 2 collections


A special screening of Akshay Kumar's latest film "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" was organised today for almost 150 public representatives and officials in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. It is a good growth as Toilet Ek Prem Katha on Friday i.e. Day 1 had collected only Rs 13.10 crore at box office.

"According to Mohan the film is expected to make Rs 15 crore on day 2 and slightly higher than that on day 3". Much awaited movie of Akshay Kumar Toilet ek prem katha for which he refused to take any penny released with a bang on 3590 screens all over the World.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was made on a shoestring budget of Rs 18 crore. The movie features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles and they have done complete justice to their roles respectively. The film had a superb opening at the box office, the film is getting a warm response from the audience. For this film Akshay and Land Peddaner had promotions in many places. However, the collections are relatively lower as compared to Akshay Kumar's Rustom as well Brothers, a film which released around the same time as Toilet around two years ago.

While yesterday the movie's earnings were less than Imtiaz Ali's Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer film, Jab Harry Met Sejal (JHMS) that released on August 4, the former has beaten the latter on the second day. The entire unit of the "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" had appreciated Sudarsan's message through his medium.

Since the satirical love story has received a positive report across the country the film is expected to show a good jump on Saturday and Sunday.
