Sunny with pop up showers Saturday afternoon

Monday: Partly sunny. Highs near 80.

Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says the weather pattern will stay unsettled, keeping the chance for showers and storms in the forecast through the middle of the week.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 87 and a low around 67. Overnight lows will stay in the low 60s with some clouds here and there. A few of these storms could become severe, with large hail and gusty winds being the primary threats.

Today: Mostly sunny and handsome, turning less humid this afternoon.

Rain chances return on Monday with off and on showers and storms expected and temperatures in the low 80s. We will have a similar situation for the day Tuesday as well. Showers and storms will develop this afternoon and evening. Tuesday will remain mostly cloudy with the slight chance of lingering storms and highs in the low 80s.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Wind: S 5-15; gusty.

More promising rain chances roll in for the first half of the brand new work week next week.
