Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha also features Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher; the film sheds light on the need for sanitisation and the problem of problem of open defecation in India. The occupancy in the theaters on the first day for the film has recorded 70 percent which is considered as the good start.

Puri: World renown sand sculptor Sudarsan Pattnaik has made an emotional appeal for making Bollywood starer Akshay Kumar's thematic movie "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" tax free in the entire country.

Two-Days-Collection

Hitting 600 screens in overseas, the newly released Indian movie could attract a good number of audiences. Akshay Kumar' socio-drama on its opening day took in 13 crores. The film grossed Rs. 13.10 cr.Crores on its opening day which is decent enough for this kind of film. Even today, women or people in general are forced to defecate in open, because of lack of toilets.

As we told you earlier, unlike Khans, moreover over the first-day business, Akshay's films look at overall collections. Whereas Jab Harry Met Sejal being a high budget film the day 1 collection seems less. Akshay and Bhumi's performance is fantastic but the movie is too long and preachy. According to trade experts since next week there are two holidays Independence Day August 15 and Pateti festival August 17, footfalls are likely to increase.

Let's see how Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer film will perform at the box office, we hope the film will set the mark at the box office soon.
