Rally Cat Has Been Found, Safe and Sound

By now you have heard of the now famous feline that walked across the field right before St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina hit a game-winning grand slam home run against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night.

The Rally Cat has been found, safe and sound and resting with the St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach, where volunteers are treating the cat and helping it recover before preparing it for adoption.

Fans who purchase a theme ticket to the Sunday, September 10th "Rally Cat Appreciation Day" game against the Pirates will get an exclusive Rally Cat-themed Cardinals t-shirt.

Meanwhile, the Rally Cat Cards begin a three-game series with the Braves tonight, looking for their seventh straight win as they try to catch the Cubs in the NL Central.

The same group says it's now "confident" it's the same cat we saw scratching and clawing at Busch Stadium grounds crew member Lucas Hackmann as he attempted to safely remove it from harm's way.

But that doesn't really matter now seeing as Rally Cat has returned, to be shrouded in roses and be celebrated in the annals of Cardinals history. Korie Harris claimed she picked up the kitten but lost it in the City Garden.
