Interstate Covered With Pizza Is Shut Down for Hours After Truck Crash

The trailer of the 18-wheeler was sliced open when it scraped the bridge on Interstate 30 near Little Rock, Arkansas.

Drivers were rolling in dough, and not in the good way, when a crash left hundreds of frozen pizzas spilled all over a highway in Arkansas. I was going to run to the store, grab a cold six and a frozen pizza and watch Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 starring my boy Chris Pratt.

No one was hurt in the ordeal.

Arkansas Department of Transportation spokesman Danny Straessle told the newspaper there were "lots of pizza fatalities".

A delivery truck carrying the pizzas had been travelling westbound on the Interstate 30 at around 1pm, when it hit the Mabelvale Road overpass.

The accident occurred right in front of the Arkansas Department of Transportation office. Why did this trailer have a bunch of frozen pizzas?

I-30 West is closed while officials work to clean the slippery mess off of the interstate.

The road, part of a major link between Dallas and Memphis, was shut for four hours as recovery trucks were seen scooping up the pizza.
