Carrie Fisher leaves almost $7m worth estate to daughter Billie Lourd

Carrie Fisher - who starred in the globally iconic "Star Wars" franchise as Princess Leia - left an estate worth almost $7 million to her daughter, Billie Lourd.

According to People, which said to be found in the presence of the court documents in answer to the said fortune, the young woman of 25 year-old will inherit $ 6.8 million.

It's possible Lourd could also collect additional money in trusts not reflected in the probate case. These include bank accounts, car, Telsa S, of several companies, a life insurance policy, jewelry, works of art and some collectibles.

Fisher's daughter will also inherit the rights to her mother's public image and signature, and also intellectual property rights, including books, copyrights and trademarks.

On the other hand, Carrie Fisher's estate which she shared with her late mother Debbie Reynolds was also offered on the market for $18 million. Fisher's mother, film legend Debbie Reynolds, died two days later at 84.

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that most of Carrie Fisher's memorabilia is scheduled to be auctioned this September and will be organized by Profiles in History with the help of her brother Todd.

It can be recalled that Carrie Fisher suffered a fatal heart attack a year ago and died at the age of 60. She was rushed from her flight to hospital but later died. "...and now is the first time in my life when I get to own my life and stand on my won", she told her "American Horror Story: Cult" co-star Sarah Paulson in a Town and Country magazine interview. "I love being my mother's daughter, and it's something I always will be, but now I get to be just Billie".

Billie Lourd will appear in the upcoming "Star Wars: The last Jedi" as Lieutenant Connix, with her late mother as Leia, a movie which will premiere on December 15th.
