The main lead of the film, Kangana Ranaut made her appearance on the launch. Kangana Ranaut's next film, Simran is going to be out this year in September and the trailer of the film just dropped by. She joked, "If I had to put this in a script, I would have written that the driver, after banging the vehicle, would have woken up and he would have asked, 'Where are we?!'" She further commented on the matter saying Apurva Asrani's all dues have been cleared.

"Story about a girl, who works in housekeeping department, she belongs to the grass-root level of the society but her dreams a very high and she wants to belong and she thinks deserves".

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, who is now shooting for the period film film "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi" took a break from her schedule to launch her upcoming "light-hearted" film "Simran" by Hansal Mehta. Right from how she shoots down patriarchy to the finishing dialogue, this looks like a role inspired from and tailor made for Ranaut. I now have top billing as story, screenplay and dialogue writer.

"I will not participate in the negativity nor in the changing narratives of the Simran credit controversy. But now the error of the previous poster has been corrected and fair credits have been awarded". Kangna Ranaut was moving in a vehicle at a high speed on a highway in United States of America during the shoot of her film Simran when she realized that the driver of the auto passed out.

Here are 5 things that we absolutely love about Kangana Ranaut's Simran trailer! For the record, "Simran" ran into controversies much before the trailer release as Kangana was rumoured to have taken over the editing of the film apart from meddling with the script.
