Milla Jovovich is the Blood Queen of 'Hellboy' reboot

Milla Jovovich to Play the Blood Queen in Hellboy Reboot

According to a report from Deadline, Jovovich is apparently in final talks to join director Neil Marshall's reboot of Hellboy. The script is being penned by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, and Mignola himself. Hellboy awakens an army of dead knights to battle her, and while Nimue is defeated, she ultimately winds up dragging the hero with her to hell. This time, Stranger Things' David Harbour will be taking the role of Hellboy. She also appeared in "The Fifth Element" and "Zoolander". With a whole new Hellboy comes a whole new set of stories, and of course villains, such as Milla Jovovich's Blood Queen.

A point of interest that has come up since the news of Jovovic's casting broke a day ago, is that despite the inclusion of its Blood Queen, this reboot might drop her out of the title.

That working title should raise some eyebrows as it refers to a specific character from the comics. For those that don't know, the Blood Queen is a British witch from the era of King Arthur.

After initially being announced earlier this year, the cast of the upcoming Hellboy reboot is beginning to take shape. She has a particular taste for ripping out the hearts of her enemies. And this new movie, I don't have much hands-on involvement.

In the studio's eyes, del Toro's Hellboy movies cost a lot of money to make, as most del Toro movies do, but didn't make almost enough profit to warrant a 3rd movie. Although he couldn't say who specifically would be on the big screen, Mike Mignola confirmed that the B.P.R.D. would be in the film.
