Carrie Fisher's Daughter Billie Lourd to Inherit Nearly $7 Million

Carrie Fisher's daughter to get MASSIVE inheritance

American actress Billie Lourd will receive nearly U$6.8 million (AU$8.63 million) from her mother's estate, according to new court documents.

"The filing comes as the trustee of Carrie Fisher's living trust has dropped his petition asking that all of the late actress-writer's assets be declared part of the trust", says the report.

According to court documents obtained by ET, which were filed by Fisher's estate executor, the 25-year-old actress will inherit $6,800,000 in personal property left by her late mother.

Lourd will also inherit the rights to her mother's public image and likeness, as well as her intellectual property rights.

Among the assets Fisher left behind included art, jewelry, luxury vehicles, movie residuals, ownership in various business ventures and rights to proceeds from the sale of the $18 million Beverly Hills estate where she and Reynolds lived. In an interview with American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson for Town & Country's September issue, the Scream Queens star revealed that her sense of humor helped her with grief.

Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, will inherit almost $7 million worth of properties. As a result, Fisher's only daughter will now pocket the money from each of her books, trademarks, copyrights and specials. She was rushed from her flight to hospital but later died.

Billie recently admitted she is ready to step out of the "shadows" of her mother and grandmother Debbie Reynolds, who died just a day after her daughter Carrie.

Although Billie knows she was out-shone by Carrie, she "loves" being known as the daughter of Princess Leia.

However, Billie feels there is "a lot of pressure" on her to continue Carrie's "incredible legacy".
