So we know that Samsung will be officially announcing their next flagship smartphone pretty soon in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The Note 8 launches in NY on August 23rd (around 1am AEST on August 24th) so tune in to see if Samsung can still surprise us. However, even though the phablet is scheduled to come out on August 23, we already have all the information we need about it, including the color variants it will be available in. We know the specs it would pack, the features it would boast, the probable design it would enclose itself - Everything!

Samsung is going to reveal the Note 8 on 23 August at an event in NY.

The Investor reports that the same solution is being adopted for the Galaxy Note 8 in order to replace all the functionality of the home button and open a hidden menu with shortcuts to different features. Only a day ago, we had informed you that the device could have a transparent case inside the retailing box.

The picture highlights the horizontally aligned dual camera setup on the back, along with the fingerprint reader located just beside it. However, the hardware parts which actually matter are it's Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that's been clocked at 2.45GHz which also comes bundled with 6GB of RAM.

Besides the typical storage variants, a new variant named "Emperor Edition" is rumored to hit the market this time. Roland Quandt recently tweeted that there may be a 256GB option, at least in South Korea.

After its launch on August 23rd, the Note 8 should be available to the consumers starting September 15th.
