Watch the new Blade Runner 2049 trailer

The New Blade Runner 2049 Trailer is Here

The footage is intense, hinting that characters may or may not be replicants themselves, although we already know some questions about Harrison Ford's character will be left unanswered. The very first teaser was an appeal to nostalgia, to fans of the original 1982 Blade Runner movie.

The clip debuted during Good Morning America, and shows Ryan, 36, portraying new LAPD officer, K, while the 75-year-old is reprising his role as Rick Deckard.

"I covered my tracks, I scrambled the records".

The trailer, which aired during Good Morning America, checks on Ryan Gosling's LAPD officer, K, who's been tasked with the pretty awesome job of finding Harrison Ford in a handsome hellscape. It depicts Ryan Gosling, as LAPD Officer K, searching for Deckard, who appears to be hiding out in some kind of replicant commune or concentration camp. Although the trailer doesn't say exactly, Ford's character does share that "we were being hunted". Blade Runner 2049 opens in theaters on October 6th. Working in collaboration with the supremely talented Roger Deakins as director of photography is also a strong factor in my increasingly positive hopes.

By now, we're getting a little spoiled when it comes to Blade Runner 2049. I really love Blade Runner and I want to be on board with its sequel, but I'm not convinced yet.

The plot picks up third years after the events in the first film. "And when you make peace with that you are free".
