Trunks And Closed Beta Announced For Dragon Ball FighterZ

How Dragon Ball FighterZ Could Come to the Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has announced that it will begin sign-ups for a closed beta very soon, and that beta will actually take place this month.

Nevertheless, there is a new Dragon Ball Z fighting game on the way and it features a few aspects which put it quite a bit ahead of the pack in terms of general intrigue. Head over to the following YouTube link (ready for embedding) to check out Trunks as he demolishes any and all enemies that dare challenge him in DRAGON BALL FighterZ.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018. The closed beta will include nine playable characters for players to try out, and future Trunks will be one of them.

During an interview at EVO, Tomoko Hiroki, producer of Dragon Ball FighterZ, mentioned something rather interesting through a translator. The Prince of Saiyan will also grace the game's closed beta.

It's excellent to see that the game has even included future Trunk's signature move "Burning Attack" in flawless fashion (seen at the 19-second mark in the trailer). This means that players who are itching to get their hands on the next 2.5 D fighting game will have to wait a little bit longer. We've only seen seven so far, so two more will be a surprise.

As of right now, we know that Goku, Vegeta, kid Gohan, Perfect Cell, Frieza, fat Majin Buu, and future Trunks are in the game.
