Roger Federer crushes Milos Raonic to avenge last year's defeat at Wimbledon

I think the Swiss man will do what he has done for the two weeks. You can see that there's not much doubt in his mind. While his opponent Querrey became the first Amercican since 2009 to reach semi-final after Andy Roddick who finished 2nd in Wimbledon 2009.

Federer had no such problems in his majestic demolition of Canadian Milos Raonic 6-4, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). And it was no contest at the net, with Federer routinely finishing off rallies with finesse. "I tried to get it in the condition where I was able to play". He has still yet to lose a set this tournament, and with the way he's playing, even a flawless performance on the other side of the net may not be enough to stop him.

Of the three challengers, it is surely Cilic who possesses the biggest threat to Federer.

Raonic looked better in the third set, holding serve and taking it to a tiebreak. Federer, however, wins his quarterfinals match in straight sets still. 'He kept a very high gear the whole entire time without giving many real glimpses [of weakness].

For his part, 11th seed Berdych will be looking to improve on his 2010 performance when he made it all the way to the final but was beaten by Nadal in the showpiece match. It was the first time at this tournament that Raonic was held under 20 aces. However, he has only won one of six matches against Federer, although he did push him in five sets at Wimbledon past year.

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray are all out of the tournament.

Murray attracted praise after correcting a journalist who said Sam Querrey was "the first USA player to reach a major semi-final since 2009".

Can any of the three outsiders stop Federer from winning his 19th Grand Slam?

Federer has already won seven Wimbledon titles in the famous stadium and will move past American Pete Sampras as the most successful man ever at the tournament if he wins on Sunday.

"I believe this is his home court, place where he feels the best and knows that he can play the best game", Cilic said.

Federer has now reached 29 grand slam finals. Mureay was struggling throughout the match due to hip injury. I have a lot of respect for him doing that.
