Mayweather, McGregor trade taunts and insults

Conor McGregor is coming under fire for making more racially driven comments during his Floyd Mayweather fight press tour

Due to the amount of money he'll make fighting Mayweather, many have argued that we've seen the last of McGregor in the UFC, but the lightweight champion appears to be dead set on continuing his MMA career.

And in a media scrum after the second press conference of the pair's worldwide tour, Ireland's first UFC belt holder sent a chilling message to all his doubters, particularly those in the boxing world.

McGregor has exuded a confidence which might spark a doubt in lesser men, but Mayweather has bobbed and weaved, and ducked and dived, with the quickest hands and toughest chins in boxing, and emerged undefeated and unscathed. It was an eventful fight with the Big Show getting nailed by one of Mayweather's henchmen before the boxer repeatedly bashed the Big Show's head with the chair for the KO win.

During the NY press conference Mayweather showered one dollars bills on the stage.

"The boxing world is small, you hear these things".

"Conor has 1% - maybe 0.5% chance of winning", he said.

McGregor, on the other hand, has a classic rags-to-riches story.

The total retail cost of the Ghost, the Wraith and the Dawn is in the region of £750,000 and McGregor posed in front of his cars at a garage in NY.

And now it's emerged that the UFC superstar was allegedly knocked to the canvas in training.

The crowd may be rooting for the underdog out of these two competitors with Mayweather clearly having more experience in the boxing ring. August 26 bout goes down. "All sports is entertainment, news is entertainment today, it is just the way of the world", Triple H stated in the SkySports interview.
