After an overnight low around 57, Wednesday features a 70 percent chance for showers and storms, mainly after 1 p.m., with possible rain totals of a quarter- to half-inch, cloudy skies, a high near 74 and south winds at 15 to 20 miles per hour, gusting to 30 miles per hour.

Best chances for storms overnight will be across northern Kansas in into Nebraska.

This weekend into early next week continues to bring highs in the 80s but with a slight increase in humidity by Sunday that will bring a chance of storms for the second half of the weekend with models diverging next work week.
