Baldwin, Johansson reprise Trump roles on 'SNL' season finale

Saturday Night Live

The video has had more than a quarter of a million views since it was posted on Saturday 20 May.

Baldwin's Trump has a similar message, but a different (and hilarious) rationale.

The group is rounded off with the appearance of Melania Trump (Cecily Strong) and Ivanka Trump (Scarlett Johansson), however, Melissa McCarthy was not there to play Sean Spicer.

"And we go like this with our hands", says the 30 Rock alum, holding his arms up, fingers splayed.

Johnson then added that the two things were "pizza and us". Dwayne Johnson hosted the finale, joined by musical guest Katy Perry, which pulled in an average 8.3 million viewers overall and became the highest-rated episode of the season (via Deadline). After Baldwin gifted him with the Five Timers cloak, he addressed reports that he may run for president in 2020. You like WWE humor? A better leadership. I think more poised, less noise'.

To say that season 42 of Saturday Night Live has been historic would be somewhat of an understatement. That's a lot of institutional memory to replace and a lot of characters who really will be missed. The two were featured in a number of sketches including "Weekend Update". "I guess we got to do it. C'mon!" "I don't quite know if people want to continue with that". She also lampooned candidate Hillary Clinton during the campaign season.

"I'm in", Johnson playfully announced.

"What day does daddy play Donald Trump?". "But I can't speak for these people". I personally found Che and Jost polarizing from week-to-week. "Because everyone just assumes that I'm, well, whatever they are".

Secrets have been at the forefront of America's political consciousness over the a year ago, and SNL has been determined to parody just about every new revelation that's leaked its way out of the current administration.

This time around, McKinnon appeared as Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway.

This season's regular President Trump impersonator returned once more, but in a bit of twist, didn't crack a string of biting jokes to open up this week's episode. With Alec Baldwin's busy schedule and talk of Trump's impeachment buzzing around, it seems to be a real possibility.
