Starbucks Testing Coffee Ice Cubes

Being that the coffee ice cubes are only in the testing phase, the company hasn't made an official announcement about them.

ABC News reports that 100 Starbucks locations in St. Louis and Baltimore began testing coffee ice cubes earlier this week.

Imagine a future without watered-down iced coffee.

"Customers can add ice that's been made using Starbucks coffee to any iced espresso or brewed beverage for 80 cents", said a Starbucks spokesperson.

The coffee ice cubes cost 80 cents to be added to a drink. Slowly, people started to realize that coffee ice was indeed being tested at Starbucks.

The coffee ice cubes from Starbucks Corporation are also only going to be available for a limited amount of time. Not only do they keep your drink cool, but they keep it from ever getting watered down. If the coffee ice proves popular with consumers, we could see a more widespread roll out in the future. Plus, you get even more coffee for your cup. Think about all of the ways that you can spruce up your coffee orders!

Starbucks isn't planning to expand the test at this time.
