Justin Bieber received by Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera at Mumbai airport

While Salman Khan " s personal bodyguard Shera may be around to keep the singer safe, he might not be Justin Bieber's favourite companion. She popularly operates her YouTube channel to address issues like body shaming and depression.

Indian television channels aired mobile phone footage of Bieber carrying a bouquet of flowers and wearing a pink hoodie, dark shorts and white trainers as he walked from the airport to a waiting auto with his entourage.

Singer Sophie Choudry informed her 1.9million followers that like a true Belieber she had cancelled a trip to Austrailia to ensure she was in town to see him. Nearly immediately, Bieber was welcomed by a cheering crowd waiting outside for a glimpse of the pop sensation.

Bieber performed for over two hours from 8pm. Before Mumbai, he performed in in Dubai on May 6 as part of the same tour. Later, he even made a surprise visit to a popular mall in Vashi to grab a coffee from Starbucks and drove to the venue, unlike rumours which suggested he'll be taking a chopper ride to the concert.

Justin Bieber came to India for his concert in Mumbai and Bollywood was bitten by Bieber Bug. Even the suite of the five-star hotel where Bieber will stay has been modified to include truly Indian elements.

The several hundreds of mediapersons and fans, who had parked themselves at various points outside the Mumbai Airport for a glimpse of Bieber, were largely disappointed.

"Harry Potter" actress Elarica Johnson is here already to be a part of the show, organised by White Fox India and sponsored by Jio. The climactic gig was preceded by opening acts by Sartek, Zaeden and Alan Walker. While Bieber appeared to have used backing vocals during songs like "Let Me Love You", he did sing live during the acoustic portion of his show.

Bollywood bigwigs, including Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Raveena Tandon and Arjun Rampal, were spotted at the venue with their children.
