Starbucks Worker Loses It Over Unicorn Frappuccino

Unicorn Frappuccino Backlash Begins “People Are Rioting Outside”

"So for the love of God and everything that is good - don't get the Unicorn Frappuccino!".

The limited edition drink hit stores earlier this week, and customers seem to be asking for it in waves. "My hands are completely sticky, I have unicorn crap all in my hair and in my nose, and I have never been so stressed out in my entire life".

But Starbucks baristas are not happy with the popularity.

Honestly, I totally thought a Unicorn Frappuccino was very on brand for Perry, but I guess this is a situation of something being a little too close to home.

"I have never made so many Frappuccinos in my entire life", Burson said on the video.

Watch Kimmel's parody in the clip above and find out what the Unicorn Frappuccino really tastes like in Us Weekly's "We Tried It" video! From calling it "straight hell" to giving the drink the middle finger emoji (welcome to the 21st century!), baristas aren't feeling the unicorn love.

And now the baristas are rebelling.

The Starbucks at Indianapolis Boulevard and Main Street in Schererville was apparently the only location that still had the "creme Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with a pleasantly sour blue drizzle" that's "finished with vanilla whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet pink and sour blue powder topping".

The frappuccino has one-and-a-half times the daily recommended amount of sugar, which is between 24-36 grams.

One worker called it "the drink from hell", over Reddit.

The TODAY anchors tested the drink on air and came to the conclusion that it tastes like sherbet or a creamsicle. Although the sweet look may be too much for some, we think it's equal parts sassy and fun.
