The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to take the company's new Galaxy S8 design and improve upon it, even more, offering an even larger display, better features, powerful specs and most of all safer batteries. It did not give out details on pricing or launch date for the two devices.

A rugged Samsung Galaxy S8 Active could be making its way to AT&T soon, if a new report turns out to be accurate.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 1.9GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 8895 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

It has been suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be released sometime in June, the same schedule all previous Active models have launched. One source, however, has leaked that Samsung will likely reveal its dual-screen smartphone prototype sometime in the next few months.

According to The Korea Herald, Samsung said that preorders of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus reached 728,000 units, as of Wednesday. Priced starting at $720 for the 5.8-inch S8 and $840 for the 6.2-inch S8 Plus (pictured above), the new devices are being positioned as premium phones created to compete with Apple's iPhone 8, which is expected to come out this fall. We look forward to receiving new information on the toughest phone in the Galaxy S8 family. The all new Samsung Galaxy S8 is all set to go for glory as it is believed to possibly beat the LG G6. However, in a recent statement to The Verge, Samsung has confirmed that Bixby Voice would not be available at the time of launch and would only come to the Galaxy smartphones later this spring. Samsung also added dust resistance, on top of the phone's existing waterproofing. While the camera hardware of the Galaxy S8 is largely similar to the Galaxy S7, Samsung has tweaked the image processing to deliver slightly superior results. Comparing the features of both phones the Galaxy S8 has a more defined approach. The G6 consists of a 3300 mAh with a fast charging technology and the Galaxy S8 will have a 3000 mAh.
