Kane aiming to hunt down Lukaku in Golden Boot race

Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku's wonderful campaign has been further recognised by his inclusion in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year. Everton would prefer to sell Lukaku to United after a nasty transfer war with Chelsea over John Stones two years ago.

Since then, he has been linked with a host of big clubs including Manchester United and now, his latest comments are sure to add fuel to the fire.

The Liverpool club have reportedly put an astonishing £100million asking price on the striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

Costa's form has dipped badly since a row with head coach Antonio Conte over a lucrative offer from Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian and the 28-year-old will hold talks with his club when the season ends.

Kane, four goals behind Everton's Romelu Lukaku in the top flight scoring charts on 20, said: 'I've a little eye on the run-in and if I can get a few more [goals], we'll see what happens'.

Lukaku, the leading scorer in the Premier League with 24 goals, has refused to sign a new deal but Everton are reluctant to sell the Belgium worldwide unless they receive a staggering offer. The Belgian beast is now being valued at £100million by Everton it would be hard for any team to match such evaluation, given that the player's contract is set to expire in 2019. Lukaku would be an ideal potential signing for either club.

It's also claimed that Everton have doubts over Jose Mourinho's interest in Lukaku as the United manager has made the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid his top priority for the summer.
