Xiaomi Mi Max 2 pictured for the first time

The phone has a camera at its back on the top left corner with a flash. The only difference between the Mi 6 Plus and the Mi 6 is the larger 5.7-inch screen (carrying the same 1080 x 1920 resolution), the lack of a variant with 4GB of RAM (all versions of the Mi 6 Plus have 6GB of RAM), and a larger 4500mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is set to have its prices slashed after Xiaomi launches and releases it's successor, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. On the camera front, the Mi 6 Plus will feature dual-camera setup with both sportings a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor, while for the front, there will be an 8-megapixel ultra pixel shooter.

The photo was posted on Weibo, and it reveals the supposed design of the Mi Max 2. However, as per recently leaked image, it has a home button.

A fingerprint scanner is located at the back in the middle of Mi Max 2. Also, this device will get IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. The specs of the phone can compete those of the "Galaxy S8", so it's no wonder that a lot are looking forward to the unveiling of the device. The company has put their effort to introduce a USB Type - C port for charging and data sync support. With a mid-range expected price tag of Rs.40,000 and top-of-line features including a dual rear camera (12MP + 8MP), the KeyOne is expected to launch this May. Aside from that, a video teaser also confirmed said specs.

The "double glass sandwich" design is obvious from the renders, and the use of dual rear cameras is confirmed too.

Xiaomi is expected to sell the Mi 6 starting at 1999 Yuan (Rs 19,350) for the base model. Now, we can only wait till Wednesday to witness the launch of the event and unwrap two new devices Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus. No doubt this belongs to the Snapdragon 835 because you can clearly see that an Adreno 540 GPU has also been listed.
