The NFL released its full preseason schedule Monday, and the Colts find themselves matched up against several top quarterbacks and three 2016 playoff teams.

Exact times and dates for all expect the Cleveland game will be announced at a later date.

Then there is the Week 4 game against Philadelphia, a game typically reserved for backups. Per usual, the Jets will take on the crosstown rival Giants in the third week of the preseason.

The Colts, who are looking to return to the playoffs after falling short the past two seasons, open their preseason at Lucas Oil Stadium against Detroit the week of August 10-14. It will mark the fourth consecutive season that New Orleans starts their preseason on the road. During that span, the Bears lead the series, 7-6, but the Browns own a 19-13 edge in the all-time preseason series. The Jets will not appear on national television in the preseason. The Giants won previous year at MetLife, 17-9, and lead the preseason series, 17-9.

The team will wrap up preseason play at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Conversely, Tennessee and Carolina will meet for the second straight preseason. It is the first preseason meeting between the two teams since 1982.
