ZTE's Quartz smartwatch with Android Wear 2.0 leaks out

Guess today revealed its Guess Connect smartwatches, which feature round faces and run Android Wear 2.0.

Guess has been on a roll recently with their Guess Connect wearables line and they're looking to add another handsome addition to their product category. The naming scheme must be confusing for fans of the brand, as Guess' previous smartwatch has the same name. Guess's new watches fall into that latter category. The 41mm case also features clear crystals around its bezel and rose gold, silver, and gold color options. The watches - called "Guess guy" and "Guess girl" - can also be customized via various strap options. Partnering up with Google and Qualcomm Technologies Inc., Guess will be introducing smartwatches with variants for men and women.

As far as features go, Guess is keeping the details close to the vest.

Tech website The Next Web (https://thenextweb.com/google/2017/01/05/google-is-bringing-its-clever-assistant-to-android-tv-smartwatches-and-cars/#.tnw_eFB1hCnQ) believes that the almost two-year waiting period for the phone might hinder Swatch as many more features may give Google and Apple an edge during that time, citing Google's AI that it is already planning to bring to Android Wear. Software-wise, the smartwatches will include support for Smart Reply, handwriting recognition, as well as a keyboard.

No word as yet on how much the new Guess Connect smartwatch is going to cost and when customers who are looking to pick one up will be able to buy it.
