Sniper Elite 4 gets a new mini-campaign next week

Sniper Elite 4 Deathstorm DLC

(sniperelite4.com) The first part of the "Deathstorm" mini-campaign for "Sniper Elite 4" will come out on Tuesday, March 21.

Inception, Karl must infiltrate the Rocca sul Mare naval base in the chillier climes of northern Italy, targeted in a recent bombing run yet still under tremendous Nazi guard.

Inception is playable from start to finish for one or two players.

More free maps and multiplayer modes are expected to be released in the coming days.

The focus of the three-part series lies on the Manhattan Project - the United States helmed initiative in World War II centered on developing nuclear weapons - and a package labeled Deathstorm that somehow ties into the real-world invention of weapons of mass destruction. "Somewhere in this sprawling stronghold is the package codenamed 'Deathstorm'".

Rebellion will be launching the Deathstorm DLC for Sniper Elite 4 next week and there's a load of extra content too.

From sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino, Sniper Elite 4 will offer breathless emergent stealth action and unrivalled sniping freedom across maps many times the size of those seen in Sniper Elite 3. The mode placed up to 12 players into one of two teams. If you're killed in Elimination, you then sit out on the sidelines as a spectator. But that isn't permanent! Theoretically, even one player against six still has a chance, with a crack shot bringing reinforcements back to the match.

This month's free content doesn't end there. The content was announced by Tim Jones of Sniper Elite developer Rebellion Developments on the PlayStation Blog today.

Multiplayer fans, meanwhile, can look forward to Elimination, a brand new mode that also drops on March 21st, and it's FREE.
