Apple's 10.5-Inch iPad Pro 2: Specifications and features to expect

The same was also said by Japanese blogger Mac Otakara who anticipates that the new iPad Pro models will be unveiled at the said event.

It was first rumoured that the firm would release a trio of iPads at an event in March.

Apple will be releasing three new models this year - a 9.7-, 10.5- and 12.9- inch model.

When the Apple store goes down, it typically means new products are coming.

The iPad Pro 2 lineup have been rumored to be announced anytime today until March 24 so all eyes and ears are set for the long-awaited invitation to its product launch. Apple traditionally has closed the Apple Store on the day of new product announcements, and tomorrow's five and a half hour shutdown dovetails perfectly with earlier rumors calling for the imminent release of the Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch 2, the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2, the Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch, and the Apple iPad Mini Pro.

This iPad Pro 2 will be bundled with Apple's own Pencil Stylus that will have a special magnetic function which will make it easy to attach therefore harder to lose. According to MacRumors, if an event takes place in April, it could be held at the new campus that is going to open in next month. Both the 12.9-inch and 10.5 inch iPad models are said to come with a new A10X processor.

Sources said that the 10.5-inch iPad will target education and business sectors. By the term "near", the report does not indicate that the tablet won't be completely free of edge, there's some left at the top where the FaceTime camera is placed.

Starting with the smallest in the iPad Pro 2 lineup, the 9.7-inch model will pack in the power of the A9X chips as well as the excellent features of its bigger siblings. Apple calls this a maintenance outage, but the timing looks like it could be for new Apple products.

Aside from the 10.5-inch model expected to be debuted, a low-priced model is also highly anticipated. There are no plans for a big keynote, but there's still a chance the Apple store will return with some sweet surprises.

Usually this would occurrence will be accompanied by a launch event, but Apple has not sent any notifications to the media this time around.
