Andromeda Nvidia drivers released ahead of tomorrow's launch

Between its widely reported animation bugs and padded design, Mass Effect: Andromeda needs all the help it can get, and these drivers will at least ensure consistent performance. Andromeda is now available via early access on EA and Origin Access and some of those who have tried it have particular been disappointed with janky animations and face models.

Digital foundry has wasted no time checking out the performance and comparing the performance on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to provide you with a good overview of what you can expect from the animation, cut scenes and overall performance.

Although it's unlikely to actually succeed in getting people out of school or work - unless they have a really understanding principal or boss - the Mass Effect: Andromeda doctor's note is a bit of fun. The first of many Mass Effect: Andromeda reviews have begun to roll in today and critics seem less than enthused about the game.

"Whatever system configuration you play on you'll have a great experience thanks to GeForce Experience, which can automatically configure Mass Effect: Andromeda's graphics settings for the best balance between image quality and performance", Nvidia said.

PC gamers are reporting glitches and black screens while playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, even after the supposed day-one update that's included with the Origin trial downloads.

Following Andromeda's early access trial, much has been made of the game in motion on social media.

In any case, it's always best to run game with the latest drivers, which in this case are the new 378.92.
