Monroe mom accused of letting 10-year-old drive

Child 10 Drives While Mom Airs It On Facebook Live Police Say Patch PM

Police in Monroe, Connecticut learned this happened because the mother, Lisa Nissbaum, apparently broadcast the driving lesson live over Facebook.

The Monroe PD says Nussbaum was arrested and charged with risk of injury or impairing morals of a minor and subsequently released, per WTNH; she's set to appear in court on Friday.

A CT woman has been arrested after allegedly allowing her 10-year-old son to drive her Jeep while she posted live video of the trip on Facebook.

A mother was arrested last week after she live-streamed a video of her child driving a vehicle, according to police.

Lisa Nussbaum is in trouble for allegedly letting her 10-year-old child drive her auto while she livestreamed it.

Police say the video was taken from the passenger seat of Nussbaum's vehicle.

At one point police said they heard the child exclaim, "This is fun".

The Connecticut Post reports Nussbaum on Monday hinted there may be more to the story.

Nussbaum did not comment on the incident, despite attempts from local media.
