Gerber is recalling some of their cheese ravioli products due to an egg allergen missing from the label.

The New York-based company advises anyone with egg allergies to not consume the product.

The recalled products have "Egg" included in the ingredient list but was not listed in the "Contains" statement, according to Gerber.

Gerber announced the recall of Cheese Ravioli Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups® on Wednesday because the label doesn't make clear that it contains egg. As a result, the statement says, Gerber has voluntarily removed the product from retail and online stores.

No illnesses have yet to been reported due to an allergic reaction to egg.

However, the company said there was an oversight that left the ingredient and potential allergen off the list.

The "contains" statement is created to further alert parents to allergens in the recipe.
