Inside is a MediaTek MT6735CP quad-core chip ticking at 1GHz in addition to 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery with a company claimed standby time of 200 hours.

This phhone bears a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera and 8 mega pixel front camera, both equipped with LED flash light allowing it capture good selfies in low light condition. The developers of the smartphone have revealed that we are going to get the smartphones in two color variants and these are - Gold and Grey.

Coolpad has put in design elements in order to up the style quotient of the phone.

The device will be exclusively available via Amazon India from March 21 onward and will retail for Rs 8,199. Coolpad's affordable Note line is also known for its snappy fingerprint scanner, and the Note 5 Lite is no different.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB) and supports USB OTG.

The device supports 4G LTE with dual sim support, has a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-USB charging port and the fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel of the device, below the rear camera.

The Note 5 Lite has 5 inch HD IPS display (1280X970) with scratch resistant, 2.5D curved glass on top of its display.

Coolpad has today launched Note 5 Lite in India which comes with a price tag of Rs 8,199. Aforesaid, the phone is aimed at competing with the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime in India and matches the rival with the specifications on paper. At this price, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite in direct competition with the Redmi 3S Prime. The Lenovo K6 Power is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU.

As you can already guess from its name, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a much smaller footprint as compared to its 5.5-inch FHD display touting Note 5 sibling.
