Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Portland Trail Blazers will meet for the final time this season

The last time the Blazers had to reschedule a game in Portland because of weather was in January 2005.

The NBA's L2M reports, published only if a game is decided by five points or less in the final two minutes, have been debated furiously over the last few weeks after Kevin Durant accused the league of using them to throw its referees under the bus.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said before the game that he had doubts it would be played as scheduled. "So we need it". They finished the game with a new season low shooting percentage, 34.1 percent (28-82).

"Right now, we're not scoring, we're not moving the basketball like we're accustomed to doing". "We got away from that tonight". "I think anyone that knows Lamar, when he's right, is one of the most likable people that they've been around and has great knowledge of the game and has a great way of communicating.".

"We can't continue to have more turnovers than assists", LeBron James said. The play resulted in a backcourt violation on the Pistons, who got a game-deciding triple from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with 9.4 seconds left anyway for the 125-124 win.

The Blazers trailed by two to start the second half, but held the Lakers to 21.7 per cent shooting (5 of 23) and blocked four shots in the third quarter, outscoring Los Angeles 23-12.

"They're a good team at home". We just could never get over the hump. There's only so much film [study] and watching film [you can do], and [we] didn't get an opportunity to have a walk-through [Wednesday] morning because of the situation [Tuesday] night.

In the meantime, Cleveland will try to shake its losing streak - only the second time all season it has lost multiple games in a row - in Sacramento. We showed up to the arena, we're showing (on defense) on the pick-and-rolls and usually we have some visual guys, some auditory learners and different guys on the team (that pick up instructions through drill work).

This was a disappointing outcome for the Lakers, who started to look ready to make a serious push after back-to-back impressive wins and a quality victory over Memphis just one week ago.
