Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed greetings to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif and former PM and BJP veteran Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on their birthdays today.

"I have great respect for Vajpayee ji and wish him a long and healthy life", said Bharti, reports TOI. He lauded Atal ji's efforts and said that it was his hard work that brought recognition to the India on the world stage. His birthday, 25th December has been declared as the Good Governance Day. PM also shared a very old and elusive video footage of his meeting with Vajpayee. "I salute Atalji on his birthday and pray to God for his good health".

In front of a packed house at Siri Fort Auditorium, Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah said, "There have been many governments that were formed in this country".

When confronted with a video of her statement, she said, "I don't know how it happened".
