Rockstar's next game could be unveiled soon but no one knows if it will be GTA 6, Red Dead Redemption 2 or another project.

A number of rumors have suggested that a Red Dead Redemption sequel is indeed under development, and we have rounded up the ones we could find in a previous post.

It's also said to have a much larger open world than the original Red Dead Redemption.

The game also includes an online multiplayer, which features a number of game modes and activities to do throughout the city. It was hinted by the game publisher's CFO Lanie Goldstein that they were expecting a 75/25 revenue split between 2K games and Rockstar games.

The parent company of Rockstar, Take Two Initiative, gave some answers regarding GTA remasters, and while it's not something the rule out it's also not something they are planning on.

Take-Two President Karl Slatoff mentioned during an earnings call that the company is working on a new IP to provide diversity in its portfolio, though it is not known if one of Rockstar's new games contains a new IP.

Commenting on the release, Staruss Zelnick, CEO of Take Two, disclosed that the company is looking ahead to grow substantial Non-GAAP revenues and earnings in fiscal 2018. It was the second title in the "Red Dead" franchise after 2004's "Red Dead Revolver".

According to news being circulated on rumor mills, the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption game will be named as "Legends of the Old West".

Talking about "Red Dead Redemption 2" possible release date, it is reported that the sequel will not launch in June as Take-Two Interactive does not follow a policy of releasing sequels annually.
